Note about 4 pole connections:
Quite a few manufacturers are now using this 3.5mm mini jack for composite video and stereo audio. Devices such as iPod, in car dvd, portable dvd use the standard to transmit these sinals BUT they can be wired in different ways. The ways in which they wire these poles determines which RCA plug is used for which output. ie: on a camcorder the plug that says 'Video' may indeed supply the picture but on another device the same plug may be wired for the right hand stereo channel. We suggest that if you have any problem getting this cable to work that you try swapping the plugs around.
